Irruzione di Phlegm al bel Dulwich Art Festival che si arricchisce così, dopo gli interventi di Conor Harrington e Reka di una nuova realizzazione.

Come detto l’idea originale della rassegna organizzata dalla Dulwich Picture Gallery è quella di far utilizzare agli artisti coinvolti le immagini della collezione permanente della stessa galleria, una sorta di ispirazione per vedere come tecniche diverse, in diverse epoche storiche, riescano a dialogare ed ad ottenere un ipotetico filo immaginario che le accomuna.

Phlegm viene attratto da un dettaglio del “Trionfo di Davide”, alle spalle della scena c’è un uomo intento a suonare uno strumento a cerchio, l’artista di Sheffield ripropone il concetto ovviamente con uno dei suoi bizzarri personaggi.

Date un occhiata alle immagini con i dettagli del bel pezzo dipinto e restate sintonizzati, la notizia infatti è che finalmente il famoso libro che noi a tutti i fans dell’artista stavano aspettando e pronto e vedrà la luce molto probabilmente la fine di questo e l’inizio del prossimo mese, non vediamo l’ora.

My book is now back from the printers! I’m just organising a few things before i can put the first lot online. I have a few more intensive days hand embossing the covers first before i can set a date. Hopefully i should be putting them out by the end of the month. Sorry this is so delayed, it’s been a much more exhausting, time consuming and expensive project than when i started it….It looks great though so i hope it’s all worth it. I’ll post photos soon.
