Gaia – Murals for White Walls Project in Newcastle Video

Last month we had the pleasure of hosting Baltimore’s finest – GAIA. A midst a world tour ‘of sorts’ he is skipping from country to country looking for that two way dialogue between wall & mural echoing the locations natural narrative. True to form Gaia made reflection of housing project, and point of interest for the US artist, The Byker Wall. Shortly after he created his second piece of the trip; The Swan Lion Upon Africa. Each wall tells a story and stands immersed in social, economic, and political relevance if one is willing to look.
It was an absolute pleasure sharing nine days with this talent between South Africa and Rome. We know when our roads next cross he will be several countries wiser, with event more depth to his work, and more narrative with the communities he visits.
A true street artist we present a little time with Gaia.
