Alessandro Zuek Simonetti – “Anomura” Video for Bijules

Alessandro Zuek Simonetti è uno dei quattro artisti scelti da Jules Kim, founder di Bijules, per creare una piccola serie di differenti short-film da accompagnare ai propri prodotti in occasione della Fashion Week 2013.
Zuek è uno di quelli che ce l’ha fatta, con una buona dose di coraggio è uscito dai territori nazionali per cercare fortuna all’estero. Influenzato dalla cultura di strada è approdando a NYC, dove tutt’ora ha base e lavora, uno di quelli da rispettare quindi.

Nel video il nostro Alessandro ha scelto di utilizzare una serie di collage in movimento raffiguranti simboli legati al proprio immagionario e dal significo personale ed intenso, bianco e nero, ed una serie di oggetti quali teschi e conchiglie.

Using the idea of simple survival based on accepted change, she has commissioned four visual artists to create short films.

This film, created by Alessandro Zuek Simonetti is a moving collage of black and white imagery using snaps of shells and other objects of related meanings as understood by the artist.

New York City based photographer Alessandro Zuek Simonetti was born in Italy and grew up parallel to the urban street cultures of the early 90’s. Quite often each project stretches beyond the photographic medium, which serves as a sign of his maturing expression as an artist.
