Herakut – “When we can let go of our fears, We are Safe” Mural in San Francisco

Herakut sono il duo di artist tedeschi Hera e Akut, i due hanno unite i loro differenti stile e background per dare vita ad uno dei progetti più interessanti a livello internazionale.

Il loro stile è unico e facilmente riconoscibile, i differenti approcci che i due mostrano per l’arte piuttosto che diventare un difetto si sono presto rivelati la loro carta vincente.

Recentemente gli Herakut hanno iniziato un nuovo ed interessante progetto dal titolo The Giant Storybook Project. Dal desiderio di creare un libro per bambini il duo è sceso in strada dove ha iniziato a raccontare una storia utilizzando come ‘pagine’ gigantesche facciate, raccontando attraverso le loro opere la storia dei due giganti protagonisti Lily e Jay.

The Giant Storybook Project chronicles the creation of a (yet-unnamed) new children’s book being created by the internationally-renowned street artist duo Herakut. Launched in September 2012 and continuing through winter 2013, the project follows the artists as they introduce the story’s characters on murals that they are painting around the world.
