Dopo le scorribande in giro per le strade di Berlino per il suo progetto più rappresentativo “The Wrinkles in The City”, se vi siete persi qualcosa date un occhiata agli archivi in basso, JR ha avuto modo di aprire anche un interessante mostra proprio sulla sua efficace permanenza in terra tedesca.
E’ la Galerie Henrik Springmann ad ospitare “Wrinkles of The City – Berlin”, lo show vede in mostra una serie di tele e fotografie circa i lavori eseguiti dal grande artista francese e la sua crew durante il mese di Aprile, oltre a questo anche alcune interessanti installazioni in legno con le incisioni delle immagini utilizzate per la tappa Berlinese. Uno spettacolo denso che se vi capita di passare per la capitale tedesca potete visitare fino al 25 di Maggio, nel frattempo scrollate giù per una serie di scatti dell’allestimento interno.

In April 2013 JR is working on over 15 buildings in the Berlin city limits, within the context of his project ‘The Wrinkles of the City’. Just as he has already done in Cartagena, Shanghai, Los Angeles und Havana, JR is now portraying here older people who have lived through the changes and upheavals of their city. Their individual life stories and what they have gone through show up in their facial features just as Berlin’s history does on the buildings where the artist posts up the portraits.
